Space Descent VR goes on nationwide tour
September 27, 2017
We’ve been dying to share the news that Space Descent VR with Tim Peake will travelling to seven venues across the UK over the next two years! The VR experience is touring alongside the Soyuz Capsule that was acquired by the Science Museum earlier this year. The tour, which has been organised by the Science Museum Group and is supported by technology giants Samsung, aims to inspire a generation of people across the country.
Yesterday, 26 September, the tour was officially announced at a launch event attended by Tim Peake himself at the tour’s first venue, the National Science and Media Museum. Peake said “I’m particularly happy that people up and down the UK now have the opportunity to discover more about my Principia mission and space travel, and that the Science Museum Group – with the support of Samsung – are doing so much to inspire the public and schools in this tour.”
